RIDER TERRITORY FORMIGAL-PANTICOSA

Aramon Formigal-Panticosa has 6 different valleys, connected by a free bus, making it the largest mountain range in Spain, spanning 180 kilometres.

The ski resort has one of the biggest vertical drops in the territory with more than 1000 metres! In fact, Panticosa’s side, with its 1075m altitude difference, is one of the best ski spots to enjoy the alpine sport at its purest state in Spain.

The terrain has 5% slopes classified as easy, 38% moderately difficult and 57% designated as ‘only for experts ’. This makes Aramon Formigal-Panticosa one of the best ski resorts for passionate free-riders. The domain has mitigated and patrolled areas where, thanks to its fresh powder, you can experience pure emotion in each of the runs. It is, without doubt, one of the most authentic rider territories for ski lovers and powder-hunters.

The free-ride zones are identified with black diamonds and there are several mountain routes which are marked with orange beacons. These paths, although being marked, are wild, untamed and subjected to weather conditions. The resort hasn’t control nor intervenes on the areas for the experience is to happen in complete connection with nature.

The area where the resort is located, the Tena Valley, is part of the Alto Aragón region, one of the prettiest areas in Spain.
